My Houdini learning strategy

1. Learn the basics – Find the beginner tutorials that work for you.
2. Dive into what you find most compelling.
3. Become completely overwhelmed and distraught in realizing the futility of the pitiable and pathetic pursuit of attempting to model anything remotely as beautiful and complex as what you find in nature.
4. Do it anyway.
5. Stick with it.
